Great local place. Love that they have a drive thru. This place is almost always busy. Pricing is what you'd expect and they often hold events. The Gold Mine is delicious. Ice cream, Brownie, Peanut Butter, Fudge and Whipped cream.... How can you go wrong with that. I haven't actually ordered one myself but I've had bites of others. The Blizzards and Swirl cones are also great. They are very generous with their sizes so if you are not what the sizes look like be to sure ask first. They even offer a petite size which is my favorite.

Great ice cream/custard. Wish they had more flavors, but I'm spoiled by Ermas over on the "east side." Cones are the best value. I tried their chocolate malt and it was pretty good. My favorite will always be vanilla with chocolate dipping. I give it a 4 rather than a 5 because of their lack of ice cream flavors and because their ice cream doesn't seen cold enough - even on a mild day, my ice cream is usually dripping within seconds. Our most recent order included two flurries, and they were half melted before we were one-quarter finished. Update: This place is leaning toward a 3 for me, after noticing their prices compared to Ermas and even Dairy Queen. With half-melted ice cream, oddly spotty service and comparing between some products (eg: s'more flurry vs s'more Blizzard), I'm starting to shy away from this place. Does anyone else seriously not have a problem with how melted their ice cream keeps coming out? They're keeping their 4-star right now, because their peanut butter shake was truly peanut-buttery, and at least their shakes don't have the problem of leaking all over the place.

One of our favorite stops for a weekend treat. I like the real fruit shakes. My family really likes the flurries. The owner is very friendly. As a bonus, they are attached to Lindsay's pizza. So we can get both food and desert in one stop.

I have a soft spot for local owned ice cream shops. Stopped by here on a whim. Their soft serve yogurt was amazing and relatively cheap. There business and picket tables where extremely tidy which is not typical for sticky ice cream shops

This place is awesome! I've never had good ice cream from there. It all has been great ice cream!!!! It's too bad they're not open all year round :( Not only do they have the location in South Lyon, but they also have other stores in Wayne, Inkster (or Dearborn Heights (?)), and Saline. These are all that I know of.

Locally owned, small business with a drive-through, so better to spend your money here than for a fast food chain sundae or cone - at least in my book. That said, it's just soft-serve. It reminds me of the ice cream you could get at The Roller King skate rink where I grew up. Anyway...we stop by 2 -3 times each summer. I prefer the brownie sundae over anything else, as the brownie chunks are good.

Local owned small business, my favorite kind. My daughter loves the garbage can sundae. It's a small toy garbage can filled with ice cream covered in "dirt" oreos and topped with gummy worms and a little toy ring. I love their malted milk shakes. Everything I have tried is good. It's only open when the weather is warm so we are always sad to see it closed every fall. We also just discovered they have a drive thru! Can't believe after 5 years I just noticed!
